This time of year feels so fleeting.

The warm days are sharpened by a sudden brisk breeze, and the light is tilting against the building at a new slant, at a new time of day. It's hard not to watch what the plants do at the turn of the season, as the greenery turns to gold all around us.

As soon as September settles in, our regulars come in asking for candles with spice and enjoy the foliage of our decor. While the sun may be fading outdoors, the warm glow is growing bright in the shops.
